About Those Damn Twins
TDT are an American duo consisting of Thomas Logan (instruments, arrangements, vocals) and Lisa Gloom (instruments, arrangements, vocals). Their songs feature both electronic and organic elements and cover a variety of genres including dark twee, down tempo, synth pop, and experimental rock. The twins compile their songs by passing them back and forth between Seattle and New York – all are self produced and self released. TDT received an Apple IIc computer at an early age and were quickly charmed by all things technological. They got guitars on their sixteenth birthday and promptly formed the tubebabies. Later, Thomas played in experimental multimedia band When Animals Attack. Lisa was in an experimental art band named Perfume and Cigarettes. TDT have adopted Ableton Live and Adobe Audition as their primary tools of music production. A variety of synths, guitars, beats, and software instruments can be heard in their songs.
