Thistletown was a British psych-folk band formed in the mid 2000s in Falmouth, Cornwall. The group disbanded in 2008, but briefly reformed in 2010 only to disband again. According to Guardian journalist Will Hodgkinson, the band lived together on a boat and formed the band due to a shared love of 1970s folk-rock band Trees. In 2007 they recorded an album, 'Rosemarie', produced by Circulus main man Michael Tyack, which was well released in 2008. The band played at Green Man Festival in 2007. The group disbanded in 2008, but briefly reformed in 2010 only to disband again. Band members up until 2008 Andrew Jarvis - Trumpet, Drums, Harmonium, Accordion. Lydia Thistle - Vocals, percussion.
