The "American Dream" does not exist. It's as fake as the apple pie bought in fast food lines. We do not exist to stake our claim at an imagined life of glory. If anything we play music because it echoes within us when we don't; To deny it would be as unnatural as the apple pie with a caution sign. We dream, but it's Not enclosed with a white picket fence, and has nothing to do with a 9 to 5. We're living day to day counting pennies, vibrating strings, pounding drums, and screaming our own dreams. We hope you'll do the same. Josh Ramon started THEANTI in 2004, between various projects, writing and recording in a one bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Gary, IN. Over the course of the past few years THEANTI's evolution has been fueled by the momentum of an ever-growing global fan base, thanks to the internet, and several U.S. tours showcasing intense and varied live versions of the project. Environmental and socially aware lyrics combined with a deeply rooted experimental approach to songwriting that displays both passion and dedication has managed to keep people listening in an age of reality t.v. shows and pop icons being voted on by one hit wonders and phony British producers.
