About The Wretched

There are at least two bands called The Wretched. 1. The Wretched was an American horror punk band from Buffalo, New York. The band was led by singer Joe Hund and drummer Chris Ferguson, joined by guitarist Bill Burton and bassist Brian Krzyzan (among others). Formed in 2005, the Wretched struggled with lineup changes and ultimately called it a day in 2010. The Wretched combined the dark aesthetic and creeping melody of horror punk with the brashness and energy of Oi!, drawing influence from The Misfits, Bad Religion, The Business, Type O Negative, Fear, The Damned, AFI, Pennywise, and more. As of 2017 Joe has begun working on rerecording the Wretched's original material for a retrospective collection, and has begun working on new material with former members of the band. 2. The Wretched was a thrash metal band from Tokyo, Japan during the early 1990s. Fronted by Chitose, formerly of The Comes and Virgin Rocks.
