There appear to be several artists called The Weekends. 1. Little is known about The Weekends, a vocal pop band that recorded a single for Columbia Records in 1966 entitled 'Canadian Sunset' . What we do know is that the record was helmed by Warwick label founder Morty Craft. The single never made it past the promo stage with no stock copies known to exist, but the song 'Canadian Sunset' did appear on a Teensville Records compilation of 'sunshine pop' in 2021.
