Spawned from the mojo of David Bowie, Depeche Mode, and Run-DMC, you have The Temper Twins. The Temper Twins are a fusion of new wave, electropop, alternative rock, and hip-hop. Led by Sunspot Jonz (aka Timmy Temper) of the Living Legends, The Temper Twins embody that same passion for innovation, fun, and great music that has made the Living Legends crowd favorites worldwide. This crowd moving fun can be heard on their new single, "Change It Up" off their forthcoming album, "She's Gotta Have It (The Casio Sessions Vol. 2)" dropping Spring 2009. "We're in a recession right now, though times are tough, with the video we just wanted to show people that the fun doesn't have to stop, get up and dance!" Julian Brooks (aka Jimmy Temper) stated. The video for "Change It Up" has had a viral response, garnering 20,000 views within the first week with no promotion. This captured the attention of the Myspace editors, which led to a feature on the website. "Change It Up" is one of five videos the group slated for release soon that are going to make you laugh, dance, and hug that special someone that's in your life. The bands members are Timmy Temper on vocals (aka Sunspot Jonz of the Living Legends) and Jimmy Temper on keyboards (aka Julian Brooks of the Mod Squad). Timmy Temper is a visionary artist. Timmy's (Sunspot Jonz) message has always been one of possibility, of hope, and of change. He founded the legendary hip-hop groups, Mystik Journeyman and Living Legends. The Living Legends are a crew of independent hip-hop artists whose music has move people worldwide. Sunspot Jonz and crew helped pioneer the independent/underground movement in the Bay Area of CA, which became the blueprint for the underground nationwide and eventually worldwide. Sunspot Jonz and crew have toured everywhere from the U.S. to Europe to Japan to Australia. Jimmy Temper (Julian Brooks) was an MC and founding member of the The Mod Squad. They were signed to TNT records, the same label that put out Digital Underground, Tupac, and Raw Fusion. The Mod Squad pioneered the trip hop sound with their critically acclaimed Peoples Park album the then termed "alt. Hip Hop" wowed music reviewers, they were eventually picked up by Priority Records, and their music & videos were featured worldwide & in the states on BET and Video Soul. These two innovators and pioneers, Julian Brooks aka "Jimmy Temper" and Sunspot Jonz aka "Tim Temper" are spraying color onto the banal canvas of today's music. Like "old blue eyes", they are doing it their way. Timmy Temper said it best, "Don't be afraid to be different-That's why you " you"-check one two!!!" The Temper Twins are revolutionary, pioneers, and they won't be stopped.
