About The Staggerers
The Staggerers are a 7 (sometimes up to 9 or 10, depending on who's in town that week) member band playing aggressive punk-fueled celtic/american roots folk music. Founded on cheap whiskey, punk rock, and 'olde' music spanning several continents, they've spent the better part of two years making a mess of things, and changing the line-up repetatively. In that time, they've managed to release a now out of print (Thankfully... ed.) self titled demo, a live albumn entitled 'Ten More Songs', and are currently set to release their first full length studio albumn 'Year of the Bastard'. In the process, they've been banned from two bars, a church, and managaed to lose the same battle of the bands twice. Members: Tom McSod - Lead Vocals, Banjo, Harmonica, Kazoo Timmy O'Pukerty - Mandolin, Backing Vocals Rowdy Roddy Odor - Guitar, Backing Vocals Andrew 'Better than' Shite - Bass Hugh Liquor - Fiddle Bjart Sod - accordion-ninja Ryan O'Doily - Drums, Counting To Four Influences: Nyah Feartis, The Pogues, Tom Waits, The Tossers, Leftover Crack, The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, Siobhan, The Skels, The Dolomites, Erik Petersen, Blood Or Whiskey, Blood, Whiskey, Greenland Whalefishers, The Singing Loins, Slayer
