About The See See
The See See was a British five-piece psychedelic country rock band with a multi-national membership. Based in London, the band's sound was inspired by Love, The Byrds, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Several band members now record as The Hanging Stars. With band members Richard Olson, Pete Greenwood, Kevin Peyok, Paulie Cobra, Phil Anderson and Ben Swank originally hailing from Malmoe (SE), Detroit (US), Leeds (UK) and Auckland (NZ), and with prior histories in bands like The Soledad Brothers, The Waxwings, and The Eighteenth Day of May, they came together under the Ma Rainey-inspired moniker. After a debut single that sold out in under a week, a support tour with The Raconteurs and a reputation for lively, exuberant and occasionally chaotic live shows, The See See released their second (sold out) 7” single "Keep Your Head" in early 2009 and the third 7" single "Mary Soul" in Spring 2010. The band subsequently released Late Morning Light (2010), Fountayne Mountain (2012), and Once, Forever And Again (2014). Several band members now record as The Hanging Stars.
