About The Part-Time All-Stars
A folk/punk/new wave band from Towson, Maryland. Formed in the summer of 2004 as a ska band, the group gradually shed its ska elements in favor of a folk style, although retaining trumpet. The group's sound was characterized by jangly guitar, catchy keyboard melodies, and often biting lyrics. After a hiatus through much of 2008, they reunited for their final show in August of that year.
