About The Overcast
From Newcastle Australia, The Overcast features members from several prominent local bands including: Conation, Lights Out Berlin and Scarlet Fever. The Overcast began as Ben Soedradjit's acoustic solo work with a backing band. Comprised of three other RTN Recording Studio locals; Dale Townsend (Bass), Geoff Mullard (Guitar/Backing Vocals) and Josh Barton (Drums). Playing a mix of rock, pop and folk, they have just begun playing shows at local pubs. This is only appropriate, as much of their subject matter revolves around drinking/loneliness.
