The Oatmeal Conspiracy is a Raleigh-based trio that plays an eclectic blend of acid jazz and indie pop, accented by electronic flourishes. Mitchell Morton (horns/vocals/keys), Chad Johnson (keys/vocals/samples), and Brett Connor (drums, keys, drum machine) have been making music together for over 10 years in local favorites such as Big Money Grip, flipside phonics, Flav-O-Rich, and MoonTrane. Playing a mix of instrumental and vocal tunes, the guys always try to keep things fresh by incorporating guest musicians, off-beat covers, loops, samples and various effects. Listen for a week.
