About The New Drifts

The New Drifts were a Canadian band that fused folk, rock, jazz and pop with a dose of alternative. Founding members James Phillips and Catherine MacLellan combined in 2000 with rhythmn section Stephane Bouchard (bass) and Dave Gould (drums). Their first album, "Nemesis", was released in the summer of 2002. The band split in 2003.
