About The Kvednabekkjers
The Kvednabekkjers is a super local band hailing from Bokn, Norway. Bokn is a small municipality consisting of three islands making up a small community in the South Western part of Norway. This Norwegian country rock band formed in 2009, sings in dialect and claim they have "something for everyone"; be it country songs fitting for a party in the village, love or rock songs. The band calls their very own music "Kvednapop" - a distinctive genre encompassing country rock, folk, pop, rock and country in general. The Kvednabekkjers was founded by Wolfgang B. Ognøy and Tommy Øvrebø and has since 2009 released two studio albums; "Bekkjens Sildring" and "Ventetiå".
