The Kingsland Boom Society is a Reggae band based in Auckland, New Zealand. Gareth Fleming (ex-Blindspott) started TKBS as a side project of his then band Forever Now, to have the freedom to write music that has always been a huge influence in his life. Joined by brother Corey Fleming, Forever Now vocalist Tom Riddell, Cousin Jaedyn Jensen and beat-master Johnny Olsen, The Kingsland Boom Society create a classic 80s style reggae with soaring melodies, ambient textures and a huge pulsing rythym section. With influences ranging from Yellow Man, Ub40 to the island vibes of Izrael Kamakawiwo'ole, this band from Aotearoa bring a new sound to classic styles.
