About The John Renbourn Group

The John Renbourn Group was an English folk band formed by renowned guitarist John Renbourn (1944-2015) . The first album released by the band, 1977's "A Maid in Bedlam", featured Renbourn (guitars, vocals), Tony Roberts (vocals, flute, recorders, oboe, piccolo), Jacqui McShee (vocals), Sue Draheim (fiddle, vocals), and Keshav Sathe (tabla, finger cymbals). Subsequent releases were "The Enchanted Garden" (1980) (which additionally featured John Molineux) and the live album "Live In America" in 1982. An additional live album, "A Maid in Bremen" (recorded at Roemer, Bremen, on 14 February 1978) was released in 2020.
