The Jelly Roll Men is one of the few acts around dedicated to the pure traditional, old school real deal-blues. They have taken upon themselves to spread the old Chicago blues to the masses. They have toured blues clubs and blues societies in Norway and Sweden for years under the name 9Fingers. The Jelly Roll Men has recorded an album with multi award winner Little Victor in 2018 and did a tour in Norway with him. The band figured it to be a natural move to change the name to The Jelly Roll Men as they’re diving into older and more Chicago-based material, AND most important since they are now making a lot of original music as well.. For that new package the guys needed a brand new name.
