About The Jackalopes
The Jackalopes were a High Energy, Horror Punk N' Roll band from the bowels of Dayton, Ohio. The Jackalopes started in 1998 and have played with and shared space on compilations with bands ranging from Electric Frankenstein, Mr. Bungle, The Ataris, New Bomb Turks, The Hellacopters, Graves, The Donnas, Blitzkid, Wednesday 13, 69 Eyes and MANY more! The band broke up in late 2003 but like most "undead" beasts they couldn't be kept in the grave and have reunited one of their earliest, classic line-ups to drag horror punk, kicking and screaming into the future. Often compared to The Misfits, Fear, The Ramones, Motorhead and even Hawkwind(!!), the band has carved a deep black "X" into the forehead of the Rock N' Roll underground. LOCK UP YOUR CHILDREN BECAUSE THE STREETS WILL NEVER BE SAFE AGAIN!
