About The Ivoryton Piano Factory
Justin Veatch is a singer/songwriter who died tragically in September, 2008 at the age of 17. He left a sizable body of work for such a young musician. He played all instruments but stood closely by his first love, the piano and recorded his works under the name of his project band, "The Ivoryton Piano Factory". After his death his father, Jeffrey Veatch, created a publishing company of the same name to publish Justin's works through ASCAP. Justin's family has also created "The Justin Veatch Fund, Inc." a non profit corporation that maintains a scholarship fund in Justin's name. The name "The Ivoryton Piano Factory" was inspired during numerous road trips that passed through Ivoryton, Connecticut which was home to a number of piano factories.
