About The Indie Tooth

The Indie Tooth is an independent rock band based all over the United States, formed in 2021 by Hugo Weber (of Ensenada) and Luke Hennisch (of solo work). The duo's music reflected heavily on their two main influences and also classic duos- They Might Be Giants and Ween. The band began their stardom when Luke and Hugo came together to conceptualize a concept album. This concept album would revolve around an inside joke about a flaming skeleton named Vortech and would go on as their first main project and first album, but not their first release. They initially planned for a Christmas single housing a cover of the two members' favorite band, They Might Be Giants and a re-recording of a solo Christmas song of Luke's to be their first release. This unfortunately got cancelled and instead their first released song would be entitled "Weird Al is Vortech" and would be released later upon their YouTube channel. At the same time, Luke and Hugo got other friends of theirs to join the band. Jackie, Jasper, Moroboshi, Worm and Sam. As time went on, the lineup changed, but eventually concluded at Luke, Hugo, Jasper, Sam and Jackie. The members hail from numerous locations around the United States. As of July 2022, the band made the decision to part ways, and released the "Dogs Who Decided Against Eating Bees EP" that month. In December 2022, they finally released their first and only full-length album, "Dogs Who Ate Bees & Regretted It" for the first anniversary of the band's creation. Luke and Hugo are now making music together as Luke and Hugo. Their first single, The Creature released in August 2022.
