About The Imperial Dogs

The Imperial Dogs with Don Waller (vocals), Paul Therrio (guitar/vocals), Tim Hilger (bass/vocals), and Bill Willett (drums) were an American high-energy, rock 'n' roll band from L.A.'s South Bay suburbs of Torrance and Carson. They made their live debut at Gazzarri's on March 28, 1974, and were promptly banned from the club for life. The Imperial Dogs went on to play Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco twice, the band's spiritual godfather, Iggy Pop, witnessed the first of these performances, before breaking up in 1975.
