About The Hit Ups
Hailing from Bristol, The Hit Ups have been creating havoc since 2004. Renown for their energetic shows, rarely confining themselves to the stage, they deliver their ‘spooked out electronic party-core’ with an infectious energy. Growing a strong fan base since their inception, The Hit Ups had fluctuated between members and genres until Nick Hill (synths, b/vocals) cemented the line up in 2010. The genre bending result has been devouring cities up and down the country ever since. 2011 was a mammoth year for the band, sharing the stage with huge bands, Hadouken!, Ed Sheeran, Danananakroyd and hitting up festivals throughout the summer including Dot To Dot and Shambala all on the back of their two track EP “66sexy//Unforgivable” released earlier in the year. 2012 has already gone off with a bang, being selected as Kerrang Radio's 'Featured Artist Of The Week' with new single 'You're Dead, Let's Disco' and the release of EP “Whordes” due March 2012, the UK music scene should brace itself for the onslaught The Hit Ups will be bringing it's way.
