About The Heartmurmurs
The Heartmurmurs have been the house band at the award winning internationally known Zoo Bar in Lincoln, NE, USA since 1973. Throughout the years, the band has opened for such Blues royalty as Muddy Waters and Bonnie Raitt and has become the local backing musicians of choice for visiting luminaries such as William Clarke, Charlie Musselwhite, Magic Slim, Lavelle White and a host of others. Through various personnel changes over the years, the raw, gritty, spontaneous character of the band's sound has survived intact. It's a brand new century but thankfully, it's the same old Blues! The Heart Murmers - Live at The Zoo Bar, October 2001 A great live blues album from the Midwest with Jim Cidlik, Dave Wagner, Dave Steen, Jeff Travis and Joe Gourlay.
