The Greaseman, aka Nino "Grease" Mannelli, is a radio comic, who has also appeared on numerous television shows and movies. His real name is Doug Tracht, born August 1, 1950 in Bronx, NY. He replaced Howard Stern on WWDC-FM in 1982, where he ruled the morning time slot until 1993, when he was syndicated to several radio stations through Infinity Broadcasting. He is best known for his "bits", wacky stories involving recurring characters which he invented. He also does song parodies, news commentary, and is known for his quick wit and ability to improvise. On March 31, 2008, WWDC-FM announced that "The Greaseman" would be returning to the airways on saturday mornings starting on April 5, 2008.
