About The Ghostsurreal
The Ghostsurreal was formed in 2006 by vocalist and guitarist Andrew Prahlow and drummer Chris Feick in Columbus, OH. The majority of the album Here I Am, Here Am I was recorded within Andrew's home studio set up within his various living locations from Winter 2007-Fall 2008. Their slowly building crescendos have been compared to post rock bands such as Caspian,This Will Destroy You,and Explosions in the Sky, while the vocals and aggressive aspect of their music have been compared to acts such as Thursday, Brand New, and As Cities Burn. During November of 2008, their self-released album Here I Am, Here Am I was completed but never officially released. Currently, The Ghostsurreal is on indefinite hiatus, and maybe one day will return to the music scene.
