About The Framecell
The Framecell is a New England-based indie rock band that formed in early September of 2008 in New Britain, Connecticut consisting of Mike Harrison (vocals and guitar), Jason Marsh (guitar), Peter Stroczkowski (bass and vocals), and Brett Grala (drums). Harrison and Stroczkowski, coworkers at a coffee shop, knew each other from the small music scene based around New Britain High School and formed the band after the dissolution of their respective acts. The Framecell's sound is categorized by the use of multiple layers of guitar, numerous effects, and melodic vocals in tandem with introspective, and often perspective-based lyrics. The band released their debut EP, Metaphors & Abstract Imagery, on a self-funded budget in 2009 and are currently working on a follow-up debut album, set for release in late 2010. Another kid joined the band too.
