The Doc Thomas Group was one of the 60's bands which ultimately led to Mott the Hoople. They had one LP, released in Italy, which consists of covers in the beat style of the times. The line-up consisted of Stan Tippins, Mick Ralphs (later in Mott the Hoople), Dave Tedstone, Pete Watts (later in Mott the Hoople) and Bob Hall.
