About The Distance Collective

The Distance Collective evolved from a series of 12 string acoustic tracks recorded by Graham Young in Richmond Park, London in the summer of 2017. After reaching out to a number of musicians he had worked with across the DIY music scene, the project developed from an initial core member with guest performers into a more collaborative adventure. As each new musician brought their own vision through their contributions to the tracks, others were in turn further inspired, helping create a feeling of closeness in both the composition and final recordings; an incredible feat when considering some members had never met face to face before this project. Graham Young (6 String & 12 String Guitar, Bass Guitar) Euan Ramage (6 String Guitar, Keys) Amie Willingale (Flute, Cello, Violin) Christopher Derrick (Clarinet, Keys) Michael Howe (Snare Drum) William Morris (Djembe)
