About The Wolverines

1/ The Wolverines were an important Midwestern jazz band of the 1920s, known for including Bix Beiderbecke; his first recordings, in 1924, were with this band. 2/ Residing in southern Alabama, "The Wolverines" is your all around good indie rock band with a little aggression. With faint similarities to Dont Die Cindy, Coolhandluke, and Sparta, this band is actually quite innovative and almost perfectly defines screamo Their self-titled Holdfast Records debut has 7 tracks that run together smoothly from start to finish. With some songs more melodic, some more angry, some more happy-uplifting, and one that's a little corky, you get a lot of emotions from just 7 songs. This is a nice sounding new band with a lot of musical capabilities. -Uprise Zine Members: Bryan Yeager Wes Hodge Andy Flores Steven Laney 3/ American Oi! band operating from Reading, PA.
