About The Vital Might

Boston rock band THE VITAL MIGHT continues to churn out hard-hitting music that doesn't shy away from mixing pop rock with metal, funk with prog, and good old fashioned songwriting with psychedelic breaks. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Andy Milk leads the band forward with introspective yet decisive lyrics, a passionate multiple octave range, and a wall of inventive guitar. Drummer Evan Kraker takes a page from The Mars Volta's John Theodore with his left-of-center but grounded beats. Rick Gauthier rounds out the three-piece with thunderous low end and and a powerful performance energy. "Red Planet" is the band's 2nd full length release and takes them into new territories of songwriting, lyrical content, and hopeful moods. Tripped-out song breaks, uplifting words of regret and rebirth, and harder hitting rockers highlight "Red Planet". A celestial story of love, loss, and heroism weaves through the album's thunderous beats, echoing guitars, and soaring vocals. Direct links to purchase album: http://www.thevitalmight.com/redplanet
