About The Tripps

The Tripps is a name that has been used by several groups. (1) Indie-pop three piece from Sydney, Australia. Geoffrey Forrester on bass and vocals, Jonathon Pritchard on guitars, vocals and mandolin, and David Smith on drums. Released a 7" "Sometime Today" and a 12" "never the twain" Years active: 1986-1987 (2) Free jazz trio, later quartet, from Virginia Beach, USA. David Cuffee III on saxophone and piano, Greg Meekins on drums, Sam Barrett on vocals, guitar and piano, and Cameron King on bass guitar. Released an EP "Branch Out" and an LP "A Sidereal Day" Years active: 2005 - (3) Indie rock four-piece from Lismore, Australia. Luka Cinnamond on guitar and vocals, Clancy Beveridge on lead guitar and backing vocals, Chloe Cox on bass, and Jonny Little on drums and backing vocals. They are working on releasing an EP.
