About The Shifting Sands

There are multiple bands with this name. New Zealand's The Shifting Sands started as a collection of songs written by Michael McLeod. McLeod decided to collaborate with friends in Dunedin, and embarked upon making an album with many of Dunedin’s finest musicians in tow including the likes of David Kilgour, Robert Scott, Robbie Yeats, Lesley Paris, and Jay Clarkson. Production duties were shared between Tex Houston and Thomas Bell. Shifting Sands of Brisbane, Australia, are Geoff Corbett (vox) Anna Clifford (vox) Izzy Mellor (vox & keys) Dylan McCormack (acoustic) Dan Baebler (electric guitar) and Liam Campbell (drums).
