About The Runline
The Runline is the sounds and thoughts of 21-year-old Musician Dan Shaevel. The primarily Vocal-Acoustic composition draws from influences in all genres of music with an emphasis on the genre he deems PowerRock. The Runline strives to create thoughtful and meaningful music with a sound all it's own. Because of his love for busy and intricate musicianship his mindset behind the music is to create as big and full a sound as possible from a single guitar and voice. The actual name comes from the term Run Line, which is a type of bet significant to his favorite sport, Baseball. The Run Line gives an advantage to the underdog and takes away from the dominant team. This simple idea of added hope and ability for someone who may not feel they can compete with others who seem "Better" is inspirational and gives the name a meaning deeper than just sounding cool.
