About The Long Hill Ramblers
The Long Hill Ramblers are a traditional band from Sussex in Southern England. Singer Laura Hockenhull and fiddle-player Ben Paley, who had joined together to record a version of Dorothy Elliott's "One Moonlight Night" for the album "The Blind Jack Band", recruited guitarist Tab Hunter in 2010 to form a trio. In 2011, banjo and mandolin player Daniel Stewart joined the band. He was replaced by Dan Edwards in 2014. The quartet's repertoire is mostly traditional songs from Britain and the USA, with some instrumentals and some more contemporary material.
