1) Having been described as making music that is “both beautiful and ear crushingly brutal”, The Hearing find themselves sitting on an astral plain somewhere between the majesty of early shimmering Verve material, and the sonic plains of the likes of Oceansize and Explosions In The Sky. Released in December 2007, their debut album consists of 8 tracks of darkly dramatic experiments, delicately condensed into 50 minutes of recordings, which each beg the listener to become lost in an aural world where vocals are a sparse, yet wisely used tool in an arsenal of sonic delight. This truly is music to become immersed in. 2) The Hearing is a solo project by Ringa Manner from Ruusut and Pintandwefall. Started in 2011 in Helsinki, Finland.
