About The Flamboyant Train
The Flamboyant Train is an A.I. generated music project from Brazil, launched by Thomas Trevisan. The Flamboyant Train seeks to reinvent old aesthetics in a new and original sound. The project's first single, a sixties West Coast sunshine pop gem called 'Bloomed', came out in April 2024, followed by debut album, The Flamboyant Train, in May. The album takes the listener on a journey from 1960s sunshine pop to 1970s folk, progressive and psychedelic rock. The second Flamboyant Train album came out only six months later: Cosmic Lane (November 2024) has a different feel, exploring genres such as space rock, jazz and soul. 2025 saw the release of no less than three albums by The Flamboyant Train: album #3, God Plays Dice, dropped in March, a concept album centered around faith, religion, and the absurd, with a sound rooted in indie rock and neo-psychedelia. Skyscraper on a Deserted Island followed in August, whereas November saw the release of Major Pickles, album #5 in less than 20 months' time. In a number of their 2025 and 2026 singles, The Flamboyant Train explored Brazilian bossanova traditions, with song lyrics in Portuguese. The project reverted to English on full-length album #6: Banana Sunday, released March 2026. The Flamboyant Train is open about the fact that their music is created with A.I. generative tools.
