Feeling like the underground wasn't growing with their musical tastes, The Feenom Circle began to redefine their music. Combining their multiple experiences, identities and tastes, the Feenoms started producing music that is neither mainstream nor underground, but a hybrid utilizing the best qualities of both extremes of hiphop. They now occupy the creative space lying between the glitter of mainstream rap and the subterranean grit of underground hiphop, hence "middle-ground". The resulting sound is something that can be appreciated by the masses and backpackers alike.
