The Entry The music project The Entry originated from an impulsive, spur-of-the-moment decision, following several albums and concerts around half of Europe and the disbanding of the music project Pureape. Just two months after Pureape’s last concert, Andrea Pestoni was back, performing under a new name and with a brand new repertory, what some may call a slightly darker sound, in terms of both lyrics and production. After being asked to open for bands like IAMX or Veto, and after a series of concerts to present his new album, Life Cabaret (2009), Andrea decided to go on hiatus. Not to abandon music altogether. Just to take a break. A break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A break to begin a sort of metamorphosis, a transformation on a personal and artistic level. A break from running, to stop and catch his breath. What followed was a period of rediscovery of the simple things, those things that fill your heart with joy. A reality check. A sobering return to a beautiful world, a world of colours, emotions and feelings. Feelings to be shared with others, without rushing. It is in this natural and spontaneous way that the new tracks were born. Different pieces, nothing like those presented in the past. A sort of throwback to the musical loves of younger days. A return to the past, projected in the present and inspired by the future. It's All About The Things We Don't Say Breathe With Me, a song written in an outdoor setting, whilst holidaying in the breath-taking swiss alps, is the first track to set the whimsical wheels in motion for the creation of a new album, a fresh album, an optimistic album, a banal yet sophisticated album, to describe the things that go unsaid, the beautiful things we too often forget to voice. This spontaneous way of making music gave way to the other tracks on It's All About the Things We Don't Say, most of which were written in times of calm, with a rejuvenated state of mind. Written mostly towards the end of the summer of 2010, the tracks of It's All About the Things We Don't Say were rearranged and recorded in 2011 together with Amin Khatir and Bert Engelhaupt, both of whom were a part, in their own special way, of the music projects The Entry and Pureape.
