2 possible entries: 1) 2) A German Gothic Rock band active in the mid 90s. The Cure seems to have been one of their big influences, especially in vocals. They released two albums. Drifting In Visions in 1994 and Sue in 1995. 2) the Caves are a four-piece band formed 2005 in Kansas City MO, USA, by songwriter Andrew Ashby (formerly of the String and Return). The current lineup is Ashby, lead vocals and guitar, Jake Cardwell (the Belles), drums, David Gaume (the Stella Link), bass, and Elizabeth Bohannon, vocals, keyboards and percussion. Past and occasional collaborators include Chris Braun, Cello, and Laurel Morgan (In the Pines), violin. Their music has been described as low-key, sparsely arranged indie folk/rock influenced by Neil Young, Sparklehorse, Centromatic, and Codeine. The Caves self-released their debut EP “Five songs with the Caves” August 3, 2010. The debut full-length, “Duplexiaville” is slated for release in May 2012.
