Jake Wittig, Ryan Colebeck and Ahmad Farzad are The Burning Peppermints, a physically exciting, West Coast inspired, psychedelic surf punk band from Birmingham, Alabama! In 2015, the band released their debut album Dirty Rainbow!! a 10 track album filled with a surf-rock vibe with only 25 copies of the album were made making it a lowkey release, and then later debuted on Spotify in 2016. Two years later, the band released their sophomore album Glittervomit, sticking to their psychedelic-garage-rock roots. This 8 track release proves growth and ready to take over the punk rock scene. The Burning Peppermints are different, unlike most of these underground bands they have potential, and I am really excited to watch this band grow into something big like they deserve to be.
