About The Brews
Bursting out from Adelaide in early 2003. The Brews have been thrashing their fast blend of melodic punk rock for the past three years, gaining respect Australia-wide for their constant playing. Ripping up venues and alleyways over the country, the band holds a strong DIY ethic and believes that a live show is the only way to completely understand. The Brews released a Demo in 2004, titled "The Way of the Barracuda" (Two Bucks Records), thankfully it went out of print within its first few months on the shelf... Early 2006 saw The Brews release their debut EP "Brewtality" (Two Bucks Records), 25 minutes of pure punk rock steel. Available Australia-wide through Reverberation. They have now merged a fast original style of punk rock that vere's completely off track from the new emo/screamo/not-care'o breed of music that thrashes our ears over the airwaves. The Brews have also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some great bands like Dropkick Murphy's, Frenzal Rhomb, Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, The Bouncing Souls, The Suicide Machines, The Lawrence Arms and The Horropops.
