About The Beatshakers
The Beatshakers is a project which appeared for the first time in spring 2006 as Sex Shooters. The project consists of two DJs, DJ Ivan Gojkovic and DJ Colle. Firstly, the idea about the radio show Beat Shaker came up, and almost instantly the idea about the authorial song followed. That made the pair consider changing their name into the one that will more easily fit in the marketing of the whole project .The motive for the name Sex Shooters has been found in the same named song of the group Firefox during one of their performances. In summer 2007 they worked as a backup for the Top FM team, where their performance had been noticed by some leading people of the Top FM radio. This has opened the door to the realization of their idea about the radio show. The radio show Beat Shaker has been showing since September 2007, on the most listened Belgrade station, Top FM. The show has been greatly accepted by the listeners, since it has brought something new in Belgrade radio air. For the year 2008, the first single "Little Story" signed by Sex Shooters has been announced. In May 2009 they changed their name into The Beatshakers and released single "Ma Cherie" together with Raul Alberto Dias, male vocal from group So Sabi. The song made a great success at Serbian radio stations and was named for the song of the year 2009 at Top FM radio station. Their last single "Prisoner" was released in spring 2010 with Sonja Bakic as a guest singer. Until this day thay have outstanding performances with international DJs, such as: DJ Antoine, Freemasons, Junior Jack, Wawa, DJ Pantelis, Geo Da Silva, Fly Project.
