Labelled everything from ‘post trip-hop’ (Rolling Stone) to ‘alternative roots music’, at the heart of Tecoma’s sound is a deeply compelling song writing talent and an utterly distinctive voice. Once heard this music stays with you. Amira Pyliotis, the musician behind the moniker Tecoma, first discovered performance on trumpet at age 11 after falling in love with Louis Armstrong.
