Tania Tsanaklidoy is considered as one of the most important female artists of greece. She is a talented singer as well as an expressive actress. Born in Drama, Greece, studied theater, arcaeology and some dance at Thessaloniki and went to Athens at the age of 21 where she acted in some important plays and cooperated with directors such as Karolos Koun. In 1978 participated at Eurovision song contest with the song "charlie Chaplin" and gained the 9th position. She also won an award for her appearance at french festival "rose d'or" (1980). Her career includes many music and theater stations. here are some of them. She played Edith Piaf at "athinaiko Kipotheatro" (1981) , created the music-theater show "magiko kouti" (1996)(magic box),played Thetis at the ancient tragedy "andromaxi" in 1999, cooperated with singer Dimitra Galani for two highly succesful years at zygos music hall. She played Samia at the play "samia" of Menadre in 2003 and cooperated with Michael Delta, one of the most well-known and succesful electro greek artists. the single "mia agapi mikri" was included on Buddha Bar's "Siddharta" compilation, produced by DJ Ravin. The summer of 2002 she sang songs of M.Theodorakis and on 2003 cooperated again after many years with the most succesful greek rocker Vasilis Papakonstantinoy. She also participated succesfully in some Tv series and created some music shows at ,etro music hall. "lyke lyke eisai edw" (wolf are you here?)(2004) had electro sound. the next two years she presented a show with good old greek songs including many of hers.In 2006 she participated in the show "mpoympoykia" at zygos music hall with sakis mpoulas, giannis zoyganelis, the group termites, takis farazis and more artists. the show was highly succesful, funny , entairtaining and full of good songs! she has created many cd's. most of them are her productions as she remains a free soul.She likes to experiment a lot and is considered revolutionary for that fact.
