Taiga Taiga is the musical alias of Hugh Tweedie, who has been writing and recording music since the early nineties and released three records to date, with a fourth due imminently. Melody-driven and characterised by shifting guitar textures, loops and a conspicuous cut-and-paste technique, the recordings incorporate elements from various stages of a song's evolution (sometimes spanning years), cutting raw with refined. http://taigataiga.bandcamp.com Tweedie also performs as part of the live incarnation of the Danish psych folk project Moongazing Hare.
