Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1986. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss. Guss stopped touring with the band in 2017 and officially departed in 2020. The band achieved commercial success in the 1990s with singles including "Walk on the Ocean", "All I Want", "Something's Always Wrong", "Fall Down", and "Good Intentions". The band disbanded in 1998 to pursue other projects but resumed touring the United States in 2006 with short summer tours in smaller venues. In December 2010, Toad the Wet Sprocket announced an official reunion as a full-time band and began writing new material for their first studio album since "Coil" (1997). Their most recent full-length studio album, "Starting Now", was released on August 27, 2021. A compilation release, "All You Want (Bonus Edition) Greatest Hits", followed in 2023.
