About The Brig
The Brig, real name Artem Zlobin (Артём Злобин, born 1989), affectionately dubbed the “Russian electro-swashbuckler supremo” is a Russian-based multi-genre producer who often uses pirate themes in his music. Originally interested in creating melodic dance music, he later discovered dubstep and the power of bass. He first got his start in 2014 with his heavy hitting “Mutiny” EP that was remixed by artists such as Barely Alive. He then quickly signed with Most Addictive Records and released another EP that solidified him as a standout artist in the bass scene. He’s since collaborated with artists such as Chime, Rob Gasser, Michael White, Trinergy, & more. He has released tracks with artists such as Astronaut, Fox Stevenson, and Dodge & Fuski. His clever arrangements feature dominating drums and dynamic melodies. In 2018 he released his EP “Drunken Master” with Firepower Records, after unleashing one of his most successful collaborations “Take A Fall” with Rob Gasser & Ashley Apollodor. He continued his success throughout 2019 with his Circus Records EP “Pirate’s Quest”. He also has two other aliases called Artem Zlobin and Atem Niblz where he produces Electro/Trance/Progressive.
