TENMON and Eiichiro Yanagi are two artists that worked together on the soundtracks for the ef visual novel project, starting with ef - a fairy tale of the two which was followed by ef - the latter tale. The success of the visual novels lead to its adaptation into an anime, "ef - a tale of memories" in the fall of 2007. In 2008, season two was aired under the name "ef - a tale of melodies". Both seasons sprouted a total of four albums by TENMON & Eiichiro Yanagi / minori: "espressivo" and "fortissimo" which contained the soundtrack for "ef - a tale of memories" and "elegia" and "felice" which contained the soundtrack for "ef - a tale of melodies".
