About Symphonight
Symphonight are a band from Varese, Italy. They formed on February 2009, with keyboard player Samuele and drummer Matteo finally finding a stable formation with Riccardo and Aurelio on guitars, Emanuele on vocals and Beniamino on bass. The group called themselves Symphonight with the intention to compose and play Symphonic Metal but it was clear really soon that, due to the 6 band members' different musical tastes, their genre would gradually stratify. Now, their songs consist of classic power metal anthems, slower, melodic rock songs, thrash metal pieces, romantic ballads, and even some folk and prog experimentations here and there. In March 2009, after the recording of the band's first demo CD for the HubSonica 2010 contest, bass player Beniamino decided to leave the band and so, for their first concert due 09/05/2010, the band recruited their friend Marco on bass, with which Samuele and Matteo had already played before forming Symphonight. The band is currently working on new songs in order to expand their stage time and play at local festivals in the near future, as well as trying to secure a stable bass player.
