About Svetlana Horn

Svetlana Horn Was born in St.-Petersburg. Studied at school-lyceum by St.Petersburg Conservatory, and then and in St. Petersburg Conservatory in the class of a violin of professor and the national actor of Russia Michael Gantvarg. At 2000 Svetlana was a postgraduate student in the higher school of Music and Theatre in Rostock (Germany). She worked in an orchestra of North-German TV and radio in the city of Hanover. In 2004 Svetlana get acquainted with famous Russian rock star and producer Svetlana Surganova and also with a famous people in rock world of Russia - Peter Malahovski and Andrei Ksenofontov in Petersburg. Later came the idea to make an album which will be named "Transformation". The stylistics of this album can be described as „ New Age “. It is the original combination of classic with opportunities of modern popular music. In the centre of attention of the listener is a "live" violin. Electronic sounds surround it , enriches it and supplement with a variety of timbres, "moves apart" a sound space. In turn, electronic music becomes alive and expressive owing to presence of the live instrument.
