About Suture Navigator
Suture Navigator is an abstract ambient live act from Wroclaw, Poland, set up in 2006 by a member of White Nerve Connexion & Embryonal Position, W. Benicewicz and sound designer S. Wolf. The line-up started evolving shortly after the first gigs (February 2007) and now encompasses SLA (S. Wolf), the spiritus movens of the entire project (synthesizers, samplers, programming, radio receivers, dictaphones), ADR (flutes), DRU (electric violin) and Wolf's wife NEL (video art, occasional vocals). The sound of Suture Navigator may be described as minimal dark ambient / abstract electronic soundscape, whose characteristic features are the slowly evolving sonic structures as well as the flutes and electric violin electroniacally processed beyond recognition. Suture Navigator bears some resemblance to artists such as Lustmord, Nurse With Wound, Klaus Schulze, Loscil and Dead Factory (for whom they have remixed a track).
